Argentina grants Lleida.net its fourth patent in the country and accumulates 209
Madrid, December 28.- The intellectual property authorities of Argentina have granted Lleida.net (BME: LLN) (EPA: ALLLN) (OTCQX: LLEIF) a new patent, the fourth it has received in the South American country.
This patent, which corresponds to the company's method for certifying electronic mail containing an electronic signature recognized by a telecommunications operator, is valid for 20 years.
Including this, the company has already received 209 recognitions received worldwide for its innovations in the certified electronic signature, notification, and contracting industry.
More than 60 countries have already acknowledged the company's research work.
The patent was notified this week by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) of the Argentine Republic.
The company, which is publicly traded in Paris, Madrid, and New York, has one of the most important intellectual property portfolios in the sector internationally.
"Our commitment to innovation and development and the constant strengthening of its internationalization policy has allowed us to grow in the last two years to become one of the main references in the industry," explained Sisco Sapena, CEO and founder of the company.
"For the year 2022, we have every intention of continuing to add value to our customers and shareholders in this way," he added.
Lleida.net, founded in 1995, has offices in 18 countries and clients in more than 50.
Just yesterday, it announced a contract with the Peruvian bank Interbank to issue 100,000 digital identities in the next fiscal year.
