Madrid 26 November .- Cameroon Postal Service, CAMPOST, joined yesterday the collaboration agreement on digital postal services that Lleida.net (BME:LLN) (EPA:ALLLN) (OTCQX:LLEIF) and the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) signed last summer.

This agreement allows African postal companies to offer Digital Postal Services through the Spanish company's technology. Similarly, the Nigerian postal service (NIPOST) joined the agreement earlier this week.

From now on, CAMPOST and NIPOST will have the capacity to distribute registered digital communications that can be used as valid evidence before courts of law and public administrations.

The signing of both contracts was attended by representatives of the Nigerian government and eGate Egypt, Lleida.net's partner on the continent.   "The signing of adhesion contracts by the postal services of two countries as important and with so much potential as Cameroon and Nigeria is defining a very interesting future for Lleida.net in the continent", explained Sisco Sapena, CEO and founder of the company.

To date, postal operators in Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Madagascar, Malawi, Senegal and Sierra Leone have already joined the PAPU agreement, with several more countries in negotiations.

Postal services in these states have already started to distribute registered digital communications that can be used as valid evidence in courts of law and public administrations. Lleida.net has been providing digital postal services in South Africa, United Arab Emirates and Colombia for years now. Lleida.net has been working for years to consolidate its commercial presence in the African continent.

Recently, Lleida.net and Smart Africa also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the digitisation of all kinds of public processes through the use of the SaaS services of the Spanish company. Smart Africa is the African Union agency in charge of promoting the digitisation of the continent.
