Caixa d'Enginyers contracts Lleida.net for the use of its Onboarding eKYC services

Madrid 23 March .- Spanish banking institution Caixa d'Enginyers has contracted the digital onboarding (eKYC), contracting and registered electronic notification services of Lleida.net (BME:LLN) (EPA:ALLLN) (OTCQX:LLEIF).
Onboarding eKYC is a service developed by Lleida.net that allows identification by videoconference, mobile device or computer every time a new customer joins a bank, savings bank or financial institution as a customer.
Headquartered in Barcelona and founded in 1967, the Caixa d'Enginyers is a savings and credit cooperative society that serves the interests of this professional group in Spain.
It has more than 200,000 members, and provides commercial, personal, institutional and corporate banking solutions.

"The fact that an entity as important as Caixa d'Enginyers has contracted Lleida.net's eKYC technology is a sign of the level of impact that our technological services are having", explained Sisco Sapena, general manager of the company, which has offices in 19 countries all over the world.

Lleida.net's technology is used to provide services to entities that have remote identification and contracting needs anywhere in the world, such as banks, insurance companies and also regulatory bodies.
Developed by the company's R&D division, the system records the process in which a new user registers video, requires the user to provide identification documents, verifies its integrity, helps the user to sign a document electronically and generates a certificate of the whole transaction.

With these steps, the eKYC (Know Your Customer) onboarding system becomes completely secure and allows entities to comply with the laws in force.

Lleida.net is dual-listed on BME Growth in Madrid, OTCQX in New York and Euronext Growth in Paris.

At present, more than 60 countries on five continents have granted patents to the company in recent years, including the European Union, the United States, China, Russia, India, Mexico, Japan, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Australia and New Zealand.

The company sold in the first half of 2020 7.8 million euros (29% more than during the same period of 2019) .

It also saw growth in its Software as a Service (SaaS) line, which includes its digital signature, certified electronic notification and eKYC services, of up to 62 per cent.
