Lleida.net has now 213 patents with the granting of a fourth recognition in South Africa

Madrid, August 22st - The technology company Lleida.net (BME:LLN; EPA:ALLLN; OTCQX:LLEIF) has been granted a fourth patent in South Africa for its registered electronic communications technology.

The patent is the company's new method for receiving and certifying e-mail. It is called "METHOD FOR REGISTRATION AND RECEIPT OF CERTIFIED EMAIL," is numbered ZA202102483, and is valid for 20 years.

This is the fourth recognition the Spanish-listed company has received from the South African Patent Office (CIPC, for Companies and Intellectual Property Commission), which regulates intellectual property in South Africa, and the second in less than a week.

South Africa is the world's 31st largest economy, with over 57 million people and over 101 million mobile lines.

Lleida.net has been operating in the country for a decade.

The company, which is listed in Madrid, Paris, and New York, has one of the world's largest intellectual property portfolios in signature, notification, and registered electronic contracting.

With this, the company now has 213 patents for its inventions, one of the world's largest IP portfolios in its field.

More than 60 countries on five continents have granted awards to the company, including the European Union, the United States, China, Russia, India, Mexico, Japan, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Australia, and New Zealand.
